standard protocol of brh-xray
for trauma:


  • axial: T1WI, PDW/FS, T2WI
  • Sagittal: T1WI, PDW/FS
  • Coronal: T1WI, PDW/FS, T2WI
Important ligament for intercarpal stability:
  •  scapholunate ligament, lunotriquetral ligament, and triangular fibrocartilage complex
Ligament for scapholunate dissociation:
  • volar radioscaphocapitate ligament
  •  dorsal intercarpal ligaments
Segment of triangular fibrocartilage complex
  • volar and dorsal radioulnar ligaments, volar ulnolunate ligament, and volar ulnotriquetral ligaments 
Stability of 1st carpal metacarpal joint
  • dorsoradial and superficial and deep anterior oblique ligaments
